Emily Allyn is an acoustic performer based on the South Shore of MA, specializing in an eclectic collection of covers - playing everything from the classics to the unexpected punk cover to Top 40 hits to whatever request comes her way!

 

Originally trained as a classical singer in her teens, she set her sights on Broadway but ultimately followed a different path. Her path did eventually lead her back to music, when in 2017 she decided to fulfill her lifelong dream of learning to play guitar. What began as a hobby to entertain family and friends morphed into a second career when she attended an open mic in 2021 and was offered a gig by the restauranteurs. The rest was history.

You can find her playing around the South Shore and Boston area most weekends, and when she's not playing music, you can be sure that she'll be working on her original music (and hanging out with her dog and cats).
